MISSION:
Supporters of Preserve Royal Oak respectfully request the Mayor and City Commissioners elected by the citizens of Royal Oak, as well as the appointed representatives of Royal Oak’s Planning and Zoning Committees listen to the collective voice of the community they represent as they consider forcing a massive superstore into our neighborhood.
The citizens of Royal Oak ask that our officials represent our interests and deny a Kroger Superstore entry to our community.
In doing so, we request our elected officials to:
- Confirm public safety, traffic and quality of life for Royal Oak residents are top priorities
- Preserve our community’s unique character and identity
- Promote responsible growth that enhances nearby property values
- Seek growth that does not harm the fabric of our community
- Regain voters’ trust by following the approved Royal Oak master plan
